Eligibility Requirements
Students who are interested in applying for admission to the Upward
Bound Program must meet U.S. Department of Education eligibility
criteria:
- U.S Citizen or permanent resident
- At least 13 years of age
- Graduated from the 8th grade
- Meet federal income eligibility
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Potential first generation college student
(first in their family to attend college)
- Attend any of the four Santa Ana Unified District High Schools:
Saddleback, Santa Ana, Century or Valley
