Upward Bound Program

Upward Bound is a federally funded TRIO Program, designed to assist eligible high school students with preparation for postsecondary education. California State University, Fullerton Upward Bound Program participants are selected from four high schools in the Santa Ana Unified School District: Century, Saddleback, Santa Ana and Valley high schools. The Upward Bound Program focuses on academic achievement, career development, financial aid assistance, and exposure to the various opportunities available to students at college campuses. The Upward Bound Program at Cal State Fullerton is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is committed to assisting students overcome social, class, academic and cultural barriers to higher education.
