About Health Education and Promotion

Health Education and Promotion empowers students to achieve wellness through:

Promoting healthy and active lifestyles
Encouraging development through deepened self awareness
Encouraging preventive practices for lifelong well being
Educating students to make informed health decisions

Trained health educators are available for individual appointments as well as classroom presentations or group programs dealing with a wide range of health related topics. Our Wellness Center, located in the Student Health and Counseling Center West, room 101, offers educational materials and resources for students who need additional information on specific health topics.
