Junior status majoring in one the participating departments:
Biological Science
Chemistry & Biochemistry
Engineering (Mechanical/Biomedical/Computational)
Kinesiology
Mathematics
Physics
Psychology
Grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or greater (must be maintained every semester while in the program). Applicants with a GPA less than 3.0 may be considered.
US citizen or Permanent Resident status
Two-year commitment including summer sessions (see program timeline for details)
Interested in Biomedical Science research career and will apply to PhD or MD-PhD degree programs during the last year in the program
Complete and submit an application and transcript/TDA
Provide a minimum of two academic or character references (at least one of the referees must be a CSUF faculty member) -- all recommendation letters must be sent before the application deadline. If you are a transfer student, your referees may come from facuty at your previous institution
