Prepare for Your Advising Session

Welcome to the Undeclared and Academic Advising Center. Below you will find information on how to prepare for a meeting with one of our advisors for academic advising or major exploration.

We offer walk-in advising and Undeclared appointments Monday – Friday. We adhere to all University campus closure dates. Please review our UAAC Homepage for up-to-date hours of availability.

Walk-in Advising

Current undergraduate students are able to meet with an Advisor during walk-in hours for two (2) primary reasons:

- GE Advising allows students an opportunity to ask questions about General Education requirements, academic policies, procedures, or overall University requirements.

- Major Exploration allows students an opportunity to ask questions about major and minor programs offered at CSUF, how to change or declare a major or minor, and explore additional campus resources.

Students interested in attending a walk-in advising session will check in at our front desk in Pollak Library North - 1. A staff member will ask questions to assess a student's needs, and determine if a student should be referred to another campus resource/department, or if an advising session with the UAAC will be most appropriate. Please have your Campus Wide Identification (CWID) ready when checking in with the UAAC.

Undeclared Appointments

We provide comprehensive guidance to undeclared students, helping them explore majors and make informed decisions about their educational paths through general education (GE) advising. Being Undeclared offers so many advantages and options that allow students to explore interests, career paths and most importantly, learn about themselves!

*Please note that we will add new appointments on a rolling basis, 7 days out.

Accessing Your Titan Degree Audit

TDA Guide

The Titan Degree Audit (TDA) helps keep track of a student's academic progress toward completion of a declared major program. It shows completed coursework at CSUF, transfer courses, and courses in progress. It shows what requirements have been met and remaining requirements needed to complete a degree.

Current students should check their Titan Degree Audit on a regular basis in order to be able to quickly resolve any issues and avoid problems with graduating on time.
