Eligibility

The following requirements must be met to be eligible for admission to the Upward Bound Program:

• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Meet federal low-income guidelines and/or be a first generation college student, and/or at academic risk.
• Have graduated  or will be graduating from 8th grade (by the summer when you apply).
• Have a minimum 2.5 GPA

Application Process

1. Complete the Upward Bound Application.
2. Write an Autobiographical Essay.
3. Complete a Teacher Recommendation Form
4. Once the application and autobiographical essay are complete, locate the Upward Bound Blue Lockbox in your counseling center to drop off the items or leave them with an Academic Advisor
