For general questions regarding financial aid, please contact the Titan Hub. These may include:

  • What's the status of my recently accepted loan?
  • When can I expect to receive my financial aid for spring?
  • Can I schedule an appointment
with a counselor to review my financial aid?
  • Why is my financial aid refund less than I expected?

    And many other questions!

Top 5 questions of the week

When can I expect to receive my official 2026-2027 financial aid offer?

Financial aid offers will begin to be awarded at the end of July or early August. We recommend that all students regularly check their CSUF email for regular updates.

Students may use the CSUF Net Price Calculator for an estimated 2026-27 financial aid offer.

How long will it take for my Parent PLUS Loan to process with the FAFSA pause?

Parents with an approved Parent PLUS Loan from studentaid.gov and a completed MPN with sufficient funds to cover fees will not be disenrolled from the Titan A deadline of July 29, 2026. Parent PLUS Loans are expected to be applied to students' accounts in mid-August.

Why am I not receiving Cal Grant through CSUF if it is currently displayed on my WebGrants?

If you  have confirmed your school of attendance as CSUF on WebGrants, please allow a few weeks to see Cal Grant updated on your Financial Aid account through CSUF.

If financial aid comes after the housing payment deadline, what will happen to my housing assignment?

The first payment for housing is August 14, and financial aid will be awarded to students' accounts by that time. In the case that it is not, Housing and the Office of Financial Aid work closely to confirm students who are expected to receive aid but may not have it awarded yet to avoid being removed from housing assignments.

What other payment options do I have to avoid having my classes dropped if financial aid is not awarded by the payment deadline?

To avoid being disenrolled, students may apply for a Tuition Installment Payment Plan, which will extend their first payment to August 14, 2026.
