Top 5 questions of the week

I am a Fall 2026 Admit, but have not received my offer letter yet? When will I receive my financial aid for 2026-27?

There is a FAFSA processing hold for the next 6 to 8 weeks preventing new award offers as of April 27, 2026. Once you are packaged after that time frame you will receive a notice through your CSUF email letting you know of any new changes.
Prior, please make sure to complete any Financial Aid requirements listed under Tasks on your Student Homepage.

I am enrolled in at least 6 units, but have not receive any financial aid for the 2026 Summer. What should I do?

Summer Grant funding is very limited over the summer, if you were not already notified that you will receive a Summer Grant, you will either need to request loans or pay out of pocket, you can consider applying for a Tuition Installment Payment Plan to give you extended time to pay for the cost.

If you are expecting grants, you will receive a Disenrollment Protection Hold viewable as a Hold on your Student Homepage. You are responsible for any pending fees on your account otherwise.

Why am I not receiving Cal Grant through CSUF if it is currently displayed on my WebGrants?

If you  have confirmed your school of attendance as CSUF on WebGrants, please allow a few weeks to see Cal Grant updated on your Financial Aid account through CSUF.

I received MCS at other CSU campuses —why is it not reflected on my Cal State Fullerton Financial Aid Offer?

Each CSU has a different cost of attendance, which can affect your eligibility for MCS.

To stay updated, regularly check your WebGrants account.

I am a continuing student for 2026-27, when can I expect my offer letter?

Financial Aid Offer letters will be available around end of June/early July. Please check your CSUF emails for any new updates at that time.
