IT - Technical Architecture Committee (TAC) 

PURPOSE

The Division of Information Technology created the (CSUF IT TAC) to provide input on enterprise IT services such as the data and voice network, email, calendar, campus portal, Titan online, Titanium and productivity tools, as well as IT infrastructure services provided at scale, such as database, data center colocation, servers, storage and backup, and cloud services. 

The CSUF IT TAC efforts will allow the IT infrastructure to provide the most effective support of the changing needs of the institution, enabling it to remain agile and competitive in carrying out its mission. The committee will consider the architectural aspects of both IT efforts involving campus wide integration and significant IT efforts within the division, which present opportunities for common architecture or service elements.
