Campus Cell Phone Program

Eligibility and Support

• Information Technology supports current Apple iPhone models and up to two previous generations.
• IT will issue a device from existing inventory when available; otherwise, a new device will be ordered.
• Supported devices must be purchased through the approved campus procurement process.
• Phone request will be based on department recommendation and approval.
• The maximum campus-funded device cost is $199 AND be an Apple product.
  
  • Employees may not pay the difference to upgrade to a higher-priced device.
  • Devices with a cost exceeding the campus-funded maximum are not eligible for purchase through the Campus Cell Phone Program.
• Device replacements and upgrades must comply with campus eligibility requirements and available funding.
• In case of manufacture defects, you are eligible for a replacement if it is within one year of purchase date.
• Existing personal phone numbers will not be transferred, ported, or added to the campus cell phone plan.
• All devices issued through the Campus Cell Phone Program will be assigned a campus-managed phone number.
• Mobile devices will only be ordered with an active cellular service plan.
• Information Technology reserves the right to determine device eligibility and support standards.
