This summer, four of our student employees from the College of the Arts (COTA) Galleries earned prestigious, funded internships at leading arts institutions, reflection the strength of the gallery’s commitment to experiential learning and career preparation. Three students were selected for the highly competitive Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship program, while a fourth secured a museum preparator internship at MUZEO Museum and Cultural Center through the City of Anaheim Workforce Development Youth Job Corps.

These achievements highlight the COTA Galleries’ role in preparing the next generation of museum and arts professionals. Through hands-on experience in the galleries, our student staff develop the practical skills, professional confidence, and industry experience needed to pursue successful careers in the arts. Today, COTA Galleries alumni are working across the museum field in exhibition production, collections management, curatorial research, registration, art handling, and visitor engagement other areas of museum practice.
