It has one housing project with homes available for sale to Educators, Low and Moderate incomes only and is located in Buena Park.

The CSU Fullerton Housing Authority was formed in July 2000 with the express mission to benefit California State University, Fullerton by providing and maintaining affordable housing and related facilities for faculty, and staff. Through such housing, the ability to foster an academic community and environment near the campus aids the university in its quest to attract and retain the highest quality personnel. The Housing Authority was a self-supporting, non-profit corporation that was managed by a Board of Directors appointed by the University President.

The CSU Fullerton Housing Authority developed its first community, University Gables, located fifteen minutes from campus in the city of Buena Park. University Gables is a unique 86-home residential neighborhood featuring 36 attached and 50 detached homes, a neighborhood park and a community swimming pool. Occupancy commenced in the summer of 2002 with homes priced significantly below Orange County market rates. In 2014 the Housing Authority was dissolved and its assets transfered to the CSU Fullerton Auxiliary Services Corporation (ASC). The goal of University Gables remains the same. The ASC is currently taking applications from CSUF Faculty and Staff, along with local educators and members of the Fullerton Workforce Consortium who have low and moderate income and wish to purchase available homes.
