POSITION SUMMARY:
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute’s (OLLl's) purpose is to provide a continued learning experience for retired or semi-retired people. The Distance Learning project's objective is to provide streamed content to off campus locations and into the OLLI member's homes and mobile devices. OLLI is seeking a Student Video Editor to work on multimedia production for OLLI Distance Learning Program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with producing multimedia presentations of OLLI classes.
- Assist with preparing media for streaming and general video production.
- Work with Broadcast switcher (ATEM MINI) to stream videos for OLLI classes.
- Work with multimedia templates and uploading content to servers.
- Assist with maintaining the video and editing equipment as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic knowledge of non-linear editing, graphics programs, and audio is preferred.
- Basic experience with video production and editing - Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve
- Basic computer skills, working knowledge Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Apple iWork.
- Good writing and verbal communication skills required.
- Experience in Audio or Music Recording, preferred.
- Experience in Photography and Videography, preferred.

- Must be a matriculated CSUF student.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Prolonged sitting in front of computer. Walking, talking, hearing, pulling, bending, may carry 10-15 pounds of objects/material, not exposed to extreme noise level, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, taste or smell.

Student Math Tutor
TITLE: STUDENT MATH TUTOR
DEPARTMENT: CENTER FOR HEALTHY NEIGHBORHOODS

EE CLASSIFICATION: STUDENT (5 HOURS PER WEEK)
FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT
SALARY RANGE: $21.00/hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Student Math Tutor position at CSUF Center for Healthy Neighborhoods at Richman Community Center is a student worker position designed to provide Cal State Fullerton students with valuable experience in youth educational learning and mentoring in a community-centered environment. This position serves as the math tutor of the Academic Success Program (ASP) to serve students from grade levels 6-12 from diverse backgrounds with personalized support to enhance math skills and academic confidence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with other Center staff to successfully implement the math component of the Academic Success Program (ASP), Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4-6:30 PM.
- Help students grades 6-12 understand math concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for exams.
- Develop individualized approaches to reinforce key concepts and address learning gaps.
- Collaborate with the Math Consultant and ASP staff to ensure program success.
- Build and support effective relationships and establish a rapport with the tutee and tutee's parent or legal guardian.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Other duties assigned to support the success of the Center’s mission.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Interest in teaching or pursuing a career in math education.
- Must be available to work Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00PM to 6:30PM.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain math concepts clearly.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to student success.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required.
EDUCATION:
- Must be a matriculated CSUF student in good academic standing, majoring in Mathematics.

SSRC Intern - Application Deadline: 11/20/26
TITLE: SSRC Intern
DEPARTMENT: Social Science Research Center (SSRC)
REPORTS TO: Center Director
EE CLASSIFICATION: STUDENT
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
COMPENSATION: $18.00 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
The goal of the SSRC internship program is to provide students with practical, hands-on experience in a real-world research setting, equipping them with skills and knowledge to contribute to research projects and prepare them for future careers or graduate studies. The overall objectives of the internship program are skill development and contributing to meaningful projects. Under the supervision of the Center Director, SSRC interns will contribute to ongoing research projects and make tangible contributions. The role of the Intern is multi-faceted, balancing learning with contributing to real-world projects. This includes but is not limited to understanding the scope of research projects, conducting literature reviews, programming surveys in Qualtrics, gathering and organizing data, data analysis, and report production.
ESSENTIAL TRAINING IN:
- Gather and organize data, which may involve conducting surveys or collecting information from various sources.
- Programming surveys in Qualtrics.
- The development of data files in SPSS or Excel.
- Cleaning and preparing data files.
- Coding open-ended data.
- Perform simple descriptive statistics, as well as t-tests and chi-square tests.
- Interpret the results of data that is analyzed.
- Produce tables and graphics depicting analyzed data.
- Assist in report production.
- Proofread final reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience using Excel, Microsoft Word, and SPSS.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
- Must be available to report 8-10 hours per week for one semester.
- Must be available from 10 AM to 3 PM Fridays
- Additional 4-5 hours are flexible.
EDUCATION:
- Must be a current CSUF undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Social Science. Preferred majors include Sociology, Psychology, or Political Science, but may also include other fields such as Health Science.
- Prior to starting the internship, must have completed the following:
- At least one (1) required research method course for major
- At least one (1) required statistics course for major
- Must also be currently enrolled in an internship course (like Psych 495) during the semester in which the internship is to be completed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifting of up to 25 lbs; periodic bending; long-term periods of sitting; long-term periods operating a computer.
