POSITION SUMMARY:
The Student Office Assistant at CSUF Center for Healthy Neighborhoods is a student worker position designed to provide Cal State Fullerton students with valuable professional experience in a community-centered environment. This role supports the Center’s daily operations and outreach efforts, offering opportunities to develop skills in program coordination and community communication.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with other Center staff to successfully implement the Academic Success Program (ASP). ASP hours of operation: 3 PM – 6:30 PM, M-T-W-TR.
- Ensure that the ASP’s daily activities are coordinated and provided in a high-quality format.
- Prepare programming and services for the next-day and help close the Center.
- Communicate effectively with Academic Success Program families.
- Support accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual: English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Culturally competent, with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by immigrant and Latino/a communities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
EDUCATION:
- Must be a matriculated CSUF student.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Prolonged sitting in front of computer. Walking, talking, hearing, pulling, bending, may carry 10-15 pounds of objects/material, not exposed to extreme noise level, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, taste or smell.

SALARY RANGE: $20.00/hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Graduate Assistant supports faculty research focused on the well-being of salespeople by conducting a comprehensive literature review and performing related research tasks. Working under the direction of the supervising faculty member, the Graduate Assistant locates, organizes, and synthesizes academic and practitioner sources, maintains accurate reference records, and produces structured research deliverables that advance ongoing scholarly projects. This is a part-time position of up to 10 hours per week.
*Please be aware that funding for this position is awarded through a Grant/Contract over a specified period. Employment for this position beyond current Grant/Contract funding is contingent upon continued funding or new Grant/Contract.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct systematic literature searches on topics related to salespeople’s well-being using Google Scholar, the Pollak Library, and associated academic databases.
- Retrieve, organize, and maintain full-text sources and bibliographic records in an accurate, consistent reference management system.
- Develop and maintain a literature review table that summarizes key sources, including theoretical frameworks, methods, samples, findings, and gaps.
- Prepare an annotated bibliography summarizing and evaluating relevant scholarly works.
- Synthesize findings across sources to identify themes, patterns, and research gaps for the supervising faculty member.
- Ensure proper citation formatting and the integrity of all references and source materials.
- Communicate progress regularly and meet established deadlines for assigned research tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Proficient in identifying and retrieving scholarly sources using Google Scholar and CSUF’s Pollak Library resources and able to manage and organize large volumes of academic literature.
- Familiarity with reference management practices and citation formatting is expected.
- Demonstrative ability to read, summarize, and synthesize academic research, work independently, and manage time effectively to complete tasks within a part-time schedule.
- Coursework and/or experience in marketing, business, or a related discipline preferred and considered a strong foundation for success in the role.
EDUCATION:

- Must be a current CSUF student enrolled in a master's degree in social sciences.
