BASIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS - AM I ELIGIBLE FOR CALFRESH?
Preliminary Eligibility Criteria
- Determine your household size: A household is defined as an person living alone or a group of people living together who purchase groceries and prepare food together. Example: If a student lives with three other roommates, but only purchases groceries for themselves, they would be considered a household of 1.
- Determine your household’s gross (before taxes) monthly income. Households cannot exceed the listed gross monthly income to be eligible for CalFresh
