Membership

The association is as strong as its members.  Your participation is key to the association sponsoring scholarships for students, recognition ceremonies, mentor projects as well as focusing on professional development opportunities for faculty, staff and students.  There are 2-easy-options to pay for membership dues, so join BFSA today!

Why Join the Black Faculty & Staff Association (BFSA)?

Your contribution helps to support BFSA sponsor and fund the following:

  • Student scholarships and awards
  • Faculty, staff, and student initiatives 
  • Collaborative efforts with our community partners on and off campus

Membership Dues

Currently, membership dues of $120 are due annually.  The entire amount is tax deductible.

Payroll Deduction

Your BFSA membership dues can be paid through Faculty, Staff and Emeriti Giving as a monthly payroll deduction. Below are the steps to get started:

  1.  Complete the online BFSA Membership Application. If you have questions, please email the Membership Chair, Chandra Jones at bfsa@fullerton.edu.
  2. Complete the Payroll Deduction form and submit directly to Cal State Fullerton's University Advancement office (CP-850), as indicated. The minimum deduction amount must be at least $10 per month.

Credit or Debit Card

Your BFSA membership dues can be paid by credit or debit card through Faculty, Staff and Emeriti Giving. Below are the steps to get started:

  1. Complete the online BFSA Membership Application. If you have questions, please email the Membership Chair, Chandra Jones at bfsa@fulleron.edu 
  2. Submit credit or debit card information using the Give to CSUF website for BFSA to pay the annual membership of $120 as a one-time payment or choose deductions of a minimum of $10 per month. A Payroll Deduction form is not required when using online giving.
