Black Student Success Advising Program at California State University, Fullerton, is dedicated to fostering connections within the university community where students feel seen, heard, and valued. We aim to empower students through a holistic advising approach that emphasizes persistence, knowledge of resources, and nurtures until graduation.

- Academic Excellence: Academic excellence is demonstrated through our students thriving in coursework, staying engaged with applicable learning, and showing persistence in achieving graduation goals. It encompasses pursuing a strong GPA, passing classes, and awareness of post-grad certifications, all while leveraging academic advising for guidance.
- Building Community: Building community involves fostering connections where students feel a sense of belonging and safety in welcoming and affirming spaces. It includes creating environments where students are seen and heard, supporting representation, and cultivating friendships through mentoring and strong alumni relations.
- Academic Enrichment Resources: Academic Enrichment resources include affinity student organizations, affinity groups, and a range of academic supports such as tutoring and technology. They also encompass career services, financial aid, mental health resources, and advising workshops, all designed to help students thrive academically and personally.
