CAPS works within a "Stepped Model of Care" to provide a variety of services to meet the diverse concerns of the csuf student population.

We are here to help in any range of clinical needs, from normal developmental changes to more serious or on-going mental health concerns. 

Our Mission

The California State University, Fullerton’s Counseling and Psychological Services exists to support Titans mental health through a robust array of services, in support of their diverse personal, educational, and career development.

Our Vision

CAPS aspires to be known across our campus as a department that is empathic, respectful, and supportive. We aim to support students through timely access to high-quality mental health care, prevention, education, and intervention. We are also committed to helping faculty, staff, and administration support our students’ mental health needs through consultation, outreach, and advocacy.
