F5 Workshop

E2VE Defense Enterprises and the Center Deliver a Hands-On Training Workshop on Using F5 Technologies for Real-World Cybersecurity Applications

Event Details

E2VE Defense Enterprises and the Center for Cybersecurity have partnered up to deliver a hands-on workshop which educates students on using F5 systems (manufactured by F5 Networks, Inc.) for implementing real-world cybersecurity solutions.

The widespread use of F5 servers in healthcare, business, banking, and military security applications have created an ever-growing demand for experts on installing, configuring, and managing the day-to-day operations of the systems.

The workshop is delivered by Mr. Chris Webb, the Chief Information Security Officer of E2VE enterprises. Webb, with more than 20 years of industry experience in training security experts, hopes that the workshop will make students realize the possibilities of the F5 and help them in building their future careers in security.

The workshop is being held June 13 – June 17 in E-101 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. The workshop is offered to five students (all Computer Science undergraduates and graduates) who have been selected based on their academic performance.
