2023-24 Assessment Report overview
At CSUF, assessment involves all colleges and divisions and is reported annually through the Assessment Management System (AMS) as part of a six-step process. University Assessment Liaisons review the reports and provide feedback to improve assessment practices.
Highlights from the 2023-2024 reporting period include:
Assessment Participation:

191 total units were expected to participate in the assessment process.

184 total units participated in the assessment process.
Assessment Report Review Results:
Assessment liaisons use a rubric to provide feedback. The overall rating includes good, solid, and excellent, with good being the lowest rating and excellent being the highest rating.

25% of assessments were rated as excellent

66% of assessments were rated as solid

9% of assessments were rated as good
