CSUF Facts 2025: At A Glance
New data are available for the campus’s fall 2025 enrolled student population. This month, we invite you to explore at a glance how some of our enrolled student populations have evolved over time, from fall 2020 to fall 2025.

The average student age was 22.2 in 2025, compared to an average age of 23.7 in 2020.

The total number of students* in 2025 was 45,863, an increase of 3,807 students compared to 2020.

The 4-year graduation rate for first-time full-time freshmen increased by 9.3 percentage points from 32.6% in 2020 to 41.9% in 2025.

The overall underrepresented** student population increased by 10.7 percentage points, from 48.5% in 2020 to 59.2% in 2025.
Colleges with 30% or more enrollment growth:

The College of the Arts increased 31.5% from 2,788 students in 2020 to 3,666 students in 2025.

The College of Engineering and Computer Science increased 32.7% from 4,638 students in 2020 to 6,156 students in 2025.

The College of Business and Economics increased 30.3% from 8,943 students in 2020 to 11,649 students in 2025.
