Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA)

Resource Center

After years of student led advocacy, and with the commitment and support of the Division of Student Affairs, CSUF is the first ever CSU to have a SWANA Resource Center! In Fall 2023, SWANA Student Services inaugural team was formed and began laying the groundwork for the SWANA Resource Center. A collaborative model of envisioning occurred to involve stakeholders in the process of creating this new space and resource for the CSUF community. Visit the SWANA Resource Center in Pollak Library South, room 170.

Mission

The Southwest Asian North African (SWANA) Resource Center is dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and creating an empowering space for SWANA communities to embrace their identities and engage in cultural exchange. Through diverse resources, events, and programs, the center supports students in their academic journeys, celebrates their heritage, and promotes a strong foundation for both personal and collective success.
