Weather and road conditions can change rapidly in the Mojave Desert. Be prepared before you leave!

• Know current weather and forecasted weather
• Know Mojave National Preserve conditions and closures
• Know road conditions and closures
• Bring ample water and food, appropriate clothing, safety gear, and a full gas tank
• Expect a lack of cell service
