Dorsa Ferdosian

Dorsa is a 4th-year civil engineering student at CSUF with a deep passion for construction management, inspired by her father’s lifelong dedication to the field. Growing up, she cherished the moments spent on jobsites, learning from his skill and tireless work ethic despite his lack of formal education. Now, as she pursues her own path, she sees it as a way to honor his hard work and shared dreams. As a member of the Student Advisory Council, she is committed to strengthening the department, fostering a supportive environment, and ensuring every student has the resources to succeed.

Mark Saba

Mark Saba is in his fourth and final year as a civil engineering student. His primary interests within civil engineering include hydraulics/water resources and geotechnical engineering. In his personal life, he enjoys hiking and exploring new beaches. He joined SAC to serve as a voice for the students and advocate for their best interests.

Christine Tawfik

Christine Tawfik is a fourth-year civil engineering student with a strong interest in structural engineering. She is actively involved in academic organizations, currently serving as Co-President of the American Society of Civil Engineers. She has experience in transportation design and aspires to pursue a career in structural design. Outside of academics, Christine enjoys visiting the beach and spending time with friends. As a member of the Student Advisory Council, she aims to advocate for the student body, fostering stronger relationships between students and faculty in the department.

Jason Saiz

Jason is passionate about sustainable building and addressing California’s water shortages and infrastructure challenges through engineering. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at California State University, Fullerton, expecting to graduate in Spring 2026, while also working toward his master’s degree. Jason has served as a Plan Check Engineering Intern with the City of Irvine for two years and previously worked as a plumbing contractor. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, surfing, and hiking with his dog.

Aidan Vouga

Aidan Vouga is a second-year civil engineering student at CSUF. He wants to pursue a career in the construction industry, focusing on building sustainable and affordable communities in California. Outside of school, Aidan enjoys attending shows, rock climbing, and spending time outdoors.  As a Student Advisory Council member, he looks forward to advocating for the student body and working with faculty to ensure the best student experience.
