Awards Adjustment Request
If you want to increase, reduce, or cancel your currently awarded aid, you can request an adjustment using the form below.
Requests you can make with this form:
- Cancel all your awards for the award year
- Cancel Spring or Fall disbursements only
- Increase your Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized loans to the maximum allowable (see chart below)
- Reduce your loans because you have new grant eligibility
- Reinstate your awards for the year because they were cancelled
- Reinstate Spring awards because you're not graduating end of Fall after all
- This will happen automatically in the middle of Fall
If you have a Golden State Teach Grant (GSTG) award, you can also use this form to reduce or cancel your Federal Loans to make room in your budget for the full GSTG award.
Decreasing or canceling a previously disbursed loan may cause a balance on your CSUF student account. You are responsible to pay the balance in a timely manner.
If you are increasing your current Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loan, please review annual loan limits in this chart to see what the maximum is for the loan.
Awards Adjustment Request Instructions
How to submit a Awards Adjustment Request
Student Forms allows you to submit documents electronically directly to CSUF. The link is below after the instructions.
Please review the following before continuing to StudentForms:
1. You will need to register with your student information before requesting a Award Adjustment. Once you are logged on, you may request the appeal by selecting the "Manage Requests" button, and then selecting the Awards Adjustment Request.
2. When requesting the Award Adjustment, you will need to enter a brief explanation for the request.
Examples could include: I want to cancel my loans, I want to reinstate my loans, etc...
3. Click Fill Out and then complete and sign the form.
4. Once all the form is signed, click the "Submit" button, then the "Finish" button.
Award Adjustment Requests will take 7-10 business days to process.
