For general questions regarding financial aid, please contact the Titan Hub. These may include:

  • What's the status of my recently accepted loan?
  • When can I expect to receive my financial aid for spring?
  • Can I schedule an appointment
with a counselor to review my financial aid?
  • Why is my financial aid refund less than I expected?

    And many other questions!

Top 5 questions of the week

I was recently admitted to CSUF for the 2026 Fall Semester. When can I expect my financial aid offer to be available?

Financial aid offers will be available by the first week of April of 2026. Check your CSUF email regularly for latest updates regarding your financial aid offer.

Also, make sure you have submitted the 2026-27 CADAA/FAFSA and listed CSUF as one of your schools with School Code: 001137

How can I apply for financial aid in the summer?

Students who enroll in at least 6 units will be awarded financial aid mid-April. Funding for the summer is not guaranteed, as it is based on first come first served basis. There is no separate application needed for grants.

Visit our website for more information: Summer Financial Aid at CSUF

Why did my Spring Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) amount change?

If you were waiting for your Spring MCS, your award may have been reevaluated. Changes in your enrollment (like adding or dropping units) or receiving additional financial aid can affect how much you’re eligible for. After the census date, the Financial Aid Office reviews and updates awards, which may result in an adjustment to your original MCS amount.

To stay updated, regularly check your WebGrants account, as your final MCS amount is based on what’s confirmed there after the census review.

Will I have to repay financial aid if I withdraw from all my classes?

If you withdraw from all classes after the term begins, your financial aid will be reviewed through a process called Return of Title IV. This determines how much aid you earned based on how long you were enrolled and if any portion needs to be repaid.

You’ll receive a notice from the Office of Financial Aid within 30 days after the withdrawal explaining what you can keep and what you may need to return.

If you withdraw after completing 60% of the term (after March 25, 2026 for Spring 2026), you may be able to keep all of your financial aid.
