Graduate Cost of Attendance

Cost of Attendance  (COA), or a  budget , is an estimated figure used to determine a student financial aid eligibility.  It includes tuition and fees as well as average amounts for standard expenses such as books and supplies, housing and food, and other living expenses for two-semesters of study. Keep in mind, that your actual costs may differ.  It includes the average cost to attend CSUF for one academic year, which consists of the Fall and Spring semesters. The Cost of Attendance helps you and the Office of Financial Aid determine approximately how much money you need to attend CSUF, and how much financial aid you need to meet that goal.
