Lynn Winter Staff Excellence Award in Graduate Education
The Lynn Winter Staff Excellence Award honors staff in graduate education that have provided a superb level of excellence to the Cal State Fullerton community.
About Lynn Winter
Lynn Winter was an evaluator in the Office of Graduate Studies from 2011 to 2023. Lynn’s commitment to graduate education is widely recognized amongst the graduate advisor community at CSUF. She provided essential support for curriculum development, student progress, and graduate policy to our numerous master’s and doctoral programs. Lynn went above and beyond, never leaving a question unanswered or a problem unsolved. Many of our staff also sought out Lynn’s expertise and mentorship. Her work has eliminated student barriers and increased transparency in the curriculum and internal processes for a more equitable campus. Students can easily and remotely access all processes, which improves their experience; Lynn was an essential part of this transformation. Lynn retired in May 2023, and she leaves a legacy of service and excellence that the Graduate Education Committee would like to recognize. The Lynn Winter Staff Excellence in Graduate Education Award recognizes her legacy and impact in graduate education and shows the campus an example of what it means to be a true Titan role model for all of our staff.
