The California Pre-Doctoral Program is designed to increase the diversity of the pool of potential faculty by supporting the doctoral aspirations of outstanding upper-division undergraduate students and master’s students in the CSU. Each selected applicant becomes a Sally Casanova Scholar and receives a scholarship for academic and professional development, along with the opportunity for a fully funded summer research experience at a major U.S. research university.
