Lock-Out Service
Residents who become locked out of their room should visit the Housing Office during business hours or call the RA on Duty after hours at (714) 681-6918. Housing and Residential Engagement provides lock-out service to residents on the following basis:
Each resident will receive two lock-outs per year at no charge.
After the two “no charge” lockouts, residents will be assessed a fee for all further lockouts.
A service charge of $10 will be placed on the student account if the lockout occurred between the times of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
A service charge of $20 will be placed on the student account if the lockout occurred after hours. After hours are considered after 5 p.m. and before 8 a.m.
Fees will be billed by the Housing Office and placed on the student account. The fees are payable at Student Financial Services or online through your student portal.
Temporary Access Cards
What is a Temporary Access Card?
Temporary access cards are given to residents if*:
- They have access issues with their TitanCard that prohibit them from entering their space
or
- They lose their TitanCard after business hours
*Temporary Access Cards will not be issued for any reason except the reasons listed above.
How to get a Temporary Access Card
Come to the Housing office or call the RA on Duty if after business hours.
Temporary Access Cards are NOT Replacement Cards
If your TitanCard is lost, please visit the TitanCard office located on the first floor of the Pollak Library. The hours are Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. There is a $10 replacement fee.
