Our students learn to be ethical, culturally competent leaders in their communities. Weaving together the humanities, arts and social sciences, our program provides students with the tools they need to examine and understand Chicana/o and Latina/o histories, contributions and experiences.

Supported and mentored by faculty experts, our students bolster their research portfolios, gaining hands-on experience studying such topics as Latinx storytelling, social justice and structural racism.

CAREER PATH

Our alumni have gone on to graduate school and careers in education, mass media, marketing, community development, social work, medicine, law and a wide variety of positions in federal and state government.
