Why Choose CSUF Geography and the Environment

What Will I Learn

Whether they travel around the world or across the street, geographers are explorers. In our program, you’ll study earth's physical and social environments, analyzing locations and connections. You’ll learn about spatial and ecological relationships and integrate concepts from the physical sciences, biological sciences, social sciences, and the humanities. Geographers ask the big questions to solve real-world problems.

What Can I Do?

Because geographers study places and peoples in terms of spatial relationships and how humans interact with the environment, our program prepares you to assess environmental challenges and societal problems. Our students are global change agents. They apply the tools and knowledge they've gained at CSUF in areas as diverse as environmental conservation, demographic research, urban planning, and much more.
