The Power of an ECS Degree
CSUF's College of Engineering and Computer Science is committed to preparing students with in-demand knowledge and practical skills for successful careers in industry, government or advanced studies. With a focus on emerging technologies, industry collaboration and innovative research, the college prepares an inclusive community of future engineers and computer scientists to lead and solve real-world challenges.

Being part of Women in Computer Science and Engineering (WiCSE) has been one of the most meaningful parts of my college journey. It gave me a community where I felt seen, supported, and inspired. Through WiCSE, I found lifelong friends, mentors who believed in me, and countless opportunities to grow — whether it was through leadership, mentorship, networking, or giving back. It made me more involved on campus and strengthened my passion for computer science, reminding me that I belong in this field.
