Campus Endpoint Security Modernization

The Campus Endpoint Security Modernization initiative strengthens the university’s cybersecurity posture by modernizing how campus computers and devices are managed, secured, and monitored.

This effort focuses on implementing consistent security standards across university-managed endpoints, including updated operating systems, enhanced device management, automated security updates, improved threat protection, and the retirement or remediation of devices that no longer meet campus security requirements.

By leveraging modern endpoint management and security technologies, the initiative helps reduce vulnerabilities, protect university data and systems, and provide a more secure and reliable technology experience for faculty, staff, and students.

The modernization effort also supports the university’s broader goals of improving cybersecurity resilience, simplifying device management, and maintaining compliance with institutional and CSU security requirements.
