What is Adobe Creative Cloud?

Adobe Creative Cloud provides apps, web services, and resources for all your creative projects — photography, graphic design, video editing, UX design, drawing and painting, social media, and more.

Using Adobe Creative Cloud

Eligibility & Prerequisites

You must be a currently enrolled student or active faculty/staff member

Each currently enrolled student or active CSUF faculty/staff member is entitled to one ampus subscription.

In order to receive a Creative Cloud Pro subscription, you will need to complete a two-step process.

Prerequisites

  • An internet connection is required to download and authenticate with Adobe Cloud
  • Up to 12GB of hard drive space if installling all applications

Get Started

Step by step instructions on how to get Adobe Creative Cloud working.

Step 1

Students

  1. Login with your CSUF username and password
  2. Agree to the End User License Agreement (EULA)
  3. Click on Submit

  1. Login to your CSUF Portal
  2. Under Featured Software, click on Adobe Creative Cloud
  3. Agree to the End User License Agreement (EULA)

You will receive an email when your license has been assigned.  Note: It can take up to 24 hours.

I can't sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud App using my Campus Login

If you just signed up, please wait for an email with confirmation that your account has been provisioned.  It can take up to 24 hours for your account to be provisioned.

Make sure you are selecting "Company or School Account" when logging into your CSUF Campus Subscription

How many devices can I use Adobe Creative Cloud on?

You can sign-in (activate) your account license on up to two devices at a time.  If you need to activate a new computer, you will need to deactivate one of your previous computers.  For more information, see Sign in to activate your Adobe apps.

Can or should I install Adobe Creative Cloud on my campus issued work computer?

Your work computer comes pre-installed with Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application.  From there you can install the individual applications as needed.  You can only be signed in to two devices at time, if you are logged in to another device - you may be prompted to sign out of one of the other devices first.

How do I login to Adobe Creative Cloud applications on a classroom computer or lab computer?

Make sure you are selecting "Company or School Account" when logging into your CSUF Campus Subscription.  You can only be signed in to two devices at time, if you are logged in to another device - you may be prompted to sign out of one of the other devices first.

What if my old computer is no longer available?

If you can't access your old computer (or the hard disk crashed), you can sign out of your app from  your Adobe account . Once signed out, you can sign in to the app on another computer.
