Get Started: Exisiting Accounts

If you think you might already have a current Dropbox account use the guides below to help convert that account to be used with your Campus account.  There's no mandate that you have just one Dropbox account so if you prefer to keep your Campus content separate from your personal account you can always follow the steps to create a new account.

  • If your personal account already uses your @fullerton.edu address, you will have the option of migrating these files to a new personal account using a different email address (@gmail.com, for example), or migrating these files to your CSUF Dropbox account.
  • If you were using your CSU Fullerton email as your personal account, you should inform non-work collaborators of your new address, as anything shared in the future with your CSU Fullerton email will end up in your CSUF Dropbox.

Dropbox Team Folder

Campus departments wishing to have a Dropbox folder for collaborating with their staff, can request to have Dropbox Team folder setup for them.  A Team folder offers departments more centralized access and granular control over folder/file permissions than shared folders.  Refer to the guide below to learn more and how your Department IT Coordinator can submit a request.
