Using GlobalProtect

Eligibility

You must be a currently enrolled student or active faculty/staff member to use GlobalProtect.

 

Ensure ALL security and software updates are not older than 7 days.
The GlobalProtect app performs a Health Check to ensure the security of your system when accessing the campus VPN.

 

Get Started

All users will be required to use DUO MultiFactor Authentication along with GlobalProtect.

Requesting access to Campus VPN is different depending on your role.  

Students

Students are automatically assigned access.

Faculty / Staff 

Faculty/staff are automatically assigned access.

If you are not able to access VPN, you can submit a request:

*GlobalProtect is installed on all rollout laptops, so you should not need to download it.

Consultants/Student Employees

A Department IT Coordinator (DITC) needs to submit a VPN Access Request Form to request VPN access for you. Contact your supervisor if you do not know who your Department IT Coordinator is or whether the access request was submitted. Once access is granted you will be able access GlobalProtect.
