Using Kurzweil 3000

Eligibility

You must be a currently enrolled student or active faculty/staff member to sign up for Kurzweil 3000.

Eligible users are entitled to ONE license for AT HOME USE. Kurzweil 3000 can be installed on both Windows (PC) and Mac computers.

Get Started

To get your FREE personal license, you will first need to download the software and then create an account for Kurzweil through the CSUF self-registration page.

Step 1: Download and Install Software

Step 2: Accept the End User Licenese Agreement

Open the CSUF Self-Registration sign-up form and login with your CSUF username and password

Read the instructions and End User License Agreement (EULA) thoroughly
1. Click on the check box (on screen) to agree to the EULA
2. Click on Go To Kurzweil 3000 Self Registration

Step 3: Fill out the Self-Registration form

To complete the form, you will need to enter your:
- First & Last name
- CSUF email
  - Student: e.g. username@csu.fullerton.edu
  - Faculty/Staff: e.g. username@fullerton.edu
- For the School/Org section, select “California St Univ-fullerton” from the drop down menu
- Leave the External Id section blank

Step 4: Registration Complete

Once registered a yellow box will appear on the screen with your Kurzweil username and password. You will also receive an email with your username and a link to create your own password as well.

You can now use your Kurzweil username and password to login to your Kurzweil 3000 desktop software, Kurzweil 3000 online and the Kurzweil Read the Web extensions.
