Parent & Family Orientation
Parent and Family Orientation (PFO) is designed to provide families with the guidance and resources they need to support their student's transition to Cal State Fullerton. The program covers various topics such as campus safety, health and wellness, financial aid, living on campus, and other campus resources.
The program will run concurrently to your students orientation so please select the same date your student will be attending their orientation. Parent and Family Orientation programming will begin at 9am and end at 2pm with continental breakfast, lunch and swag provided. Closer to your orientation date, an email with day of instructions will be sent.
Before registering please keep in mind the below:
- PFO is for First-Time, First-Year (freshman) parents/guests only.
- PFO is $60 per guest and is non-refundable. 2 guests max.
- PFO is first come, first serve so if your desired date is not available, you can always select another date. Keep in mind this may mean your orientation will be on a different date than your students orientation.
- PFO is intended for parents, guardians, and parent-like figures only. We kindly ask that children and CSUF students do not attend.
- If you would like to change the date you selected, please email pfo@fullerton.edu. The change will not be immediate nor guaranteed. We will need to wait until registration is closed to see what spaces are available.
Hybrid orientation option: If your student selected this option to complete orientation, parents and guests should still select the same date your student will be attending orientation but keep in mind your student will not need to be on campus till later in the afternoon that day.
