Resources and Services
OUTREACH
Project Rebound provides customized presentations and workshops at correctional facilities, community colleges, day reporting centers, transitional homes, and other organizations on campus and in the community.
ADMISSIONS ASSISTANCE
Project Rebound educates prospective students about the admissions process, prerequisites, and available degree programs, evaluates their academic records and provides detailed guidance on admissions strategies.
FINANCIAL AID
Project Rebound provides personalized financial aid advisement, as well as direct student support including books, meals, computers, transportation, and housing.
COMMUNITY
Project Rebound welcomes students into a circle of support and provides a bridge into the wider community on- and off-campus.
MENTORSHIP, ADVOCACY & ACADEMIC ADVISING
Project Rebound embraces students with a circle of mentors who relate to their concerns, advocate for them on campus and in the community, help them navigate the university
system, access available resources, and overcome academic and non-academic barriers to success.
TUTORING
Project Rebound provides individualized academic support, connecting students with tutors tailored to the subjects of their classes.
LEGAL SERVICES
Project Rebound connects students to free legal services through our community partners whose expertise includes record reduction, reclassification, and expungement, and employment discrimination.
COUNSELING & WELLNESS SERVICES
Project Rebound connects students to counseling, psychological, and wellness services both on campus and in the community to help students improve coping skills, strengthen personal relationships, navigate the college transition, recover from traumatic experiences, and engage in self-exploration.
EMPLOYMENT & CAREER SERVICES
Project Rebound helps students secure employment and internships on- and off-campus and connects them to CSUF's first-rate Career Services Center.
Graduation Regalia
Project Rebound knows students have hardships and do not have the funds to purchase a regalia outfit. We assist students with ordering a basic regalia (cap, gown, and tassel) so that they may join the commencement ceremonies with their fellow CSUF alumnis. After, seniors are encouraged to return and be apart of our PR Network so that they stay connected.
Computer Basics & Technology Support
Project Rebound connects students to our very own knowledgeable scholars that have technical experience in the field. Students learn the basics of navigating computer files and programs with a peer on a one-to-one session. These sessions are for students that struggle with computers.
DOR Workshops
Project Rebound acknowledges those that have suffered traumatic events or have a disability. We help students sign up for Department of Rehabilitation Services by helping them sign enrollment forms before the workshop.
