Thanks to a collaboration between the CSU Chancellor's Office and the CA Department of Social Services, legal services are available free of charge to CSU students and employees. Attorneys and Paralegals are available to assist in renewals and general assistance in filing out forms such as family-based petitions (Please see below for more services offered). The legal services are available to the undocumented and mixed-status community members-students, staff and faculty, their immediate families (parents and siblings), and recent CSU graduates (up to 2 years).

How do I make an appointment/sign up?

Visit CARECEN'S Website to schedule an appointment. Click "Book now then select California State University, Fullerton. Select your appointment type, and select provider to view their availability. 

Where is the appointment held?

Appoints are held through Zoom. You will receive a zoom link for your appointment after you confirm your booking. 

Does it cost money?

These services are available free of charge to all CSUF students, employees, their immediate family members, and alumni up to 2 years after graduation.

What kind of servies are offered?

Attorneys and paralegals are available to assist with the following: DACA renewals, Citizenship applications, Family petitions, U-Visa applications, Removal Defense, and more. Additionally, they guide each individual to the legal resources needed.

If an appointment is not available during a convenient time for me, who do I ask for availability?
