The Titan Dreamers Resource Center (TDRC) cordially invites you to participate in the 2024 Undocu Cultural Recognition Celebration which will take place Saturday, May 4th, 2024, 12:00pm-2:00pm in the Titan Student Pavilion at California State University, Fullerton. The Undocu Cultural Recognition Celebration serves as part of the many Cultural Recognition Celebrations hosted by Diversity Initiatives and Resource Centers (DIRC) and honors the accomplishments of graduating undocumented students, AB-540, DACA recipients, immigrant students or students from mixed status families.

About the Cultural Recognition Celebration

Due to capacity in the Titan Student Union, participants in the Undocu Cultural Recognition Celebration is limited. Registered students will receive an email to confirm their participation.

The cultural recognition celebration is a community event in which graduating students, faculty, and staff will hear remarks from university officials and a selected student speaker, reading of student participant names, and recessional of students. Each student’s name will be called, and they will have the opportunity to make their way across the stage.

Guests

Loved ones are integral parts of the collegiate journey of students. In addition to celebrating the student participants at U ndocu Cultural Recognition Celebration, we are also honoring and celebrating the friends and family who have supported and stood alongside the students. Each registered  student may bring  two guests to the  event with them.

Stoles

Graduating students who participate in Undocu Recognition Celebration Undocu Cultural Recognition Celebration will receive a stole during the ceremony.

Once confirmed, students can pick up their stole at the Titan Dreamers Resource Center located in the Pollak Library Southside room 180 (PLS-180) during the week of April 22nd – April 26th 8:00am-5:00pm.

Students are encourage to wear semi-formal attire. Regalia it is not required for this event.

Parking

Parking is free and permits are not required on campus on the day of Undocu Cultural Recognition Celebration. For the close proximity to the TSU, we recommend that participants park in the State College Parking Structure. Please visit Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
