The annual Undocu Recognition Celebration honors the accomplishments of graduating undocumented students, students of mixed status families,  immigrant students,  and their loved ones. All graduating  undocumented  students are invited to participate!

About the ceremony

Due to limited capacity in the TSU, participants in the Undocu Recognition Celebration are limited. Registered students will receive an email to confirm their participation.

The graduation ceremony is a community event in which graduating students, faculty, and staff will hear remarks from university officials and a selected student speaker, reading of graduates’ names, and recessional of graduates. Each graduating student’s name will be called, and they will have the opportunity to walk across the stage with their guest.

Guests

Loved ones are integral parts of the journeys of graduating students. In addition to celebrating the graduates at Undocu Recognition Celebration, we are also honoring and celebrating the friends and family who have supported and stood alongside the students. Each registered graduating student may bring two guests to the ceremony with them.

Stoles

Graduating students who participate in Undocu Recognition Celebration will receive a stole during the ceremony.
Graduating students who  cannot  attend the ceremony but would still like to receive a stole should sign up using the registration form and indicate that they would only like to pick up their stole. Once confirmed, students can pick up their stole at the Titan Dreamers Resource Center located in the Pollak Library Southside room 180 (PLS-180) during the week of May 16th - 20th from 8 am - 5 pm.

Attire

Graduating students are encourage to wear semi-formal attire. Regalia it is not required for this event.

Parking

Parking is free and permits are not required on campus on the day of Undocu Recognition Celebration. For the close proximity to the TSU, we recommend that participants park in the State College Parking Structure. Please visit Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
