TitanHEALTH Peer Educators

TitanHEALTH employs and trains Cal State Fullerton students to become Certified Peer Educators through NASPA’s BACCHUS initiative. Our Peer Educators (PEs) are able to work in all TitanHEALTH areas including our TitanHEALTH Hut.

Students visiting the TitanHealth tent

The TitanHEALTH Hut is a mobile extension of our office that provides peer-to-peer education on a variety of health topics, multiple days a week. Students who visit the hut are offered a safe, inclusive, informative, and welcoming environment in which they become empowered to make more healthful choices for themselves and to promote healthy behaviors and wellness among the CSUF student population. Our Peer Educators are Certified through the BACCHUS Network—an initiative of NASPA. Participants interact with our peer educators through fun, interactive games and activities, walking away with increased awareness of health topics, resources, and prizes! The hut is in a different location each day— stop by and say hello! Follow us on Instagram to see what we’re up to this week!   @csuftitanhealth

Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC)

The Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) is an organization comprised of caring and energetic students from various academic backgrounds and campus-community involvements. Since TitanHEALTH/CAPS is funded mostly by student fees, the primary purpose of the organization is to provide a student voice in TitanHEALTH/CAPS operations, promote a positive and open channel of communication between TitanHEALTH/CAPS staff and the student body, and to contribute additional awareness of student issues and how to better serve the health needs of students at CSUF.
