What is META?
Master’s Early Transition & Access Summer Bridge Program (META) is an orientation retreat designed to provide incoming graduate students with the tools and support necessary to thrive in their graduate studies. META offers a comprehensive orientation experience tailored to your needs.
What will I do at META?
-
Engage with faculty members from your college in small group settings to explore and understand graduate writing and research standards, facilitating a smooth transition into academic life.
- Hear from alumni, faculty, and current graduate students who will share invaluable insights on time management, work-life balance, and strategies for success in graduate school.
- Connect with various campus offices to learn about the resources and services available to you, ranging from career planning and student healthcare to specialized clubs and study spaces for graduate students.
- Enjoy meals, refreshments, and networking opportunities to forge new connections and build a supportive community within the Cal State Fullerton graduate student body.
All incoming graduate students, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin, or any other protected status, who are interested in META are welcome.
