Randomize Images

If you have event photos, projects, or other images in a gallery that has a lot of content but nothing that is specific to a particular content section then the radomize can help.

The randomize feature allows you to take a gallery with lots of pictures and just show a select few at a time.  It will pull images from a gallery starting at a random count, then you can choose to show the next few images based on your own need.

Use this feature when you have a page that could use some images which showcase events, locations, or resources.  Every time the page refreshes a different set of images will appear making return trips feel newer, longer.

gallery-randomize

gallery-count-(number)

Use the gallery-randomize style to set a random starting point for the gallery to display.  To show a limited number of images you can also add "gallery-count-" and a number of your choosing.  This will show a maximum number of images per page load.  The gallery will always show images in order based on the starting location.

Do not use the randomize feature when you specifically instruct users to interact with a particular image.  There is no guarentee that image will appear on each page load.

Refreshing the page will randomize the images shown below
