Parallax: basic

Parallax is different movement speeds between foreground elements and background elements.

The basic version doesn't try to create depth but does allow images to remain constant as text moves over them.  This is effect uses the boxes as our image holders and stock photos as the background image.

How to make this work:

Its really very simple.  In the edit mode at the very top of the page you have the background options.  Simply add "parallax" to any box and also include any of the stock photos.  The page will work its magic on the box.

As you scroll through a parallax page you will see how the ability to separate your content into sections is really where the power of parallax shines.  Different concepts can be placed in their own boxes and it will feel like the content is cleaning the slate and starting fresh.

A new section, a new idea

Its not that your content has to be radically different, but parallax can help to say "okay this is new" and really make it feel like you're in new territory.

Again we go back to less is more, you don't want to make your page look so busy that the content is lost in the layout.  If you just have a single box using parallax, that might be more effective for your users than having a different image on each section.
