The Abrego Future Scholars Program

Our Mission and Vision

To offer students academic and co-curricular experiences that will create a positive, lasting impact throughout their time at CSUF

The Abrego Future Scholars Program provides financial and academic support for students during their first year of studies at California State University, Fullerton, awarding up to fifty $1,500 scholarships to first-time freshman and first-time transfer students. We help facilitate the transition to college for meritorious students who have been disadvantaged due to their economic, environmental, or educational background.

The program also honors students who demonstrate strong academic skills, strength of character, and service to their school and community. The Abrego Future Scholars Program — along with dedicated faculty and staff — provide students with support services such as academic advising, student life activities, mentoring, campus-wide connections, and all other necessary tools to ensure their success at CSUF.
