Our Mission Statement:
Our mission is to work in a collaborative partnership with students, a shared responsibility, where the advisor and student are equally invested in the educational process and holistic development of the student.
Collectively, the Academic Advisement Center reflects the mission of the University, by providing high quality advising and academic programs that meet the evolving needs of our students, community, and region. We strive to offer an integrated array of effective advising services as well as resources and planning tools for students. Our goal is to empower students to take responsibility for learning how to set academic, career, and personal goals, and the strategies for achieving them, while progressing towards degree. We provide active guidance as well as support students as they control their own educational choices and make well informed decisions. Our campus wide collaborations and continual assessment ensure we deliver the most effective and accurate advising. Both students and advisors share the responsibility for making the advising relationship succeed.

- Clarify university requirements for graduation in a clear and efficient manner
- Work collaboratively with students, staff, faculty, and surrounding community
- Guide students through their educational career and degree requirements
