Academic Probation Tutorial hr

This section is designed to help you understand the Academic Probation Policy. If you have a hold or were told that you will have a hold placed on your record, you may have to speak with your major department advisor. You are welcome to review the academic probation information below (Sections I through V) to familiarize yourself with the information prior to meeting with your advisor.

UNDECLARED STUDENTS: Your "major department" is the Academic Advisment Center. You must meet with an advisor in order to remove the hold placed on your record.

If you're here to take an online tutorial and answer a few simple questions to confirm your knowledge of the subject then you're in the right place.

First Time Freshmen Probation Workshops

The workshops are available once a year during January (usually right before Spring Semester). In order to be admitted to one of the mandatory probation workshops, you must complete the following online tutorial and probation worksheet. The online tutorial was created to familiarize you with academic probation and the process of returning to a 2.0 GPA.  Please read through the entire tutorial.  You will use the information learned to fill out a probation worksheet.  In the tutorial you will encounter five quiz questions.  These questions must be answered correctly to proceed.  Once the tutorial is completed fill in your email, CWID, and answer three remaining questions so that you receive credit for completing the tutorial.  In order to receive credit all questions must be answered correctly.  After the tutorial is submitted please fill out the probation worksheet (at the end of tutorial) using the information you learned from the tutorial and your own unofficial transcripts.  Print the probation worksheet and bring it to the probation workshop. You will NOT be admitted to a workshop without completing the tutorial online and bringing a printed copy of your probation worksheet.

Note: These workshops are restricted to first time freshman who went on probation at the end of fall. No other students will be admitted.
