Is Timothy Titan in jeopardy of being disqualified?

In order to determine if he will be disqualified, look at Timothy Titan’s unit total and add the units he is currently enrolled in.  He has a total of 7 units, and he is enrolled in 12 units spring 07’.  Thus, if he successfully completes his coursework in the spring 07’, he will have 19 units at the end of spring 07’.

To determine if he will be disqualified, look at the disqualification level chart below.  Timothy Titan has 19 units at the end of spring 07’, meaning that he will be considered a freshman.  In order to continue as a student, his cumulative GPA and his CSUF GPA must be at or above the disqualification level of 1.50. As you can see, if Timothy Titan simply maintains his 0.94 GPA he will be disqualified at the end of spring 07’, because the GPA is below a 1.50.  It is crucial to get off probation because the more units a student accumulates, the easier it is to get disqualified.

Class Level Units Earned GPA Level
Seniors 90 or more 1.95
Juniors 60 - 89 1.85
Sophomores 30 - 59 1.70
Freshmen 0 - 29 1.50

Using your transcript, please locate how many units you currently have, how many you predict you will have at the end of this semester (add the amount in progress to current unit total), and then locate your class standing on the disqualification level chart to determine what GPA level you must be above to continue as a student.  If you are repeating a course in which you previously earned a D-, D, D+, C- you will not earn units the second time.
