Readmission Procedures
hr

1. You may qualify for readmission to the University once you raise your CSUF and total grade point averages (GPA) to 2.0 through Open University enrollment. Business majors must also raise the major GPA to 2.0.
2. You may reapply to the University while you have courses in progress, however, an admission decision will not be made until Admissions and Records receives all required documents, as well as your final course grades from your last term of enrollment in Open University and/or community college.
3. Application deadlines may close at any time so make sure to apply early.
Semester Applications Period
Fall October 1 – November 30
Spring August 1 – September 30
4. Apply on-line by logging on to www.csumentor.edu. When filling out your application, make sure to answer correctly the important question listed below.
Question: Are you eligible to re-enroll at all institutions previously attended?
Answer: NO, I am a disqualified student.
5. Once Admissions and Records receives your application, they will send you an acknowledgement letter indicating the additional documents needed to complete your application file. Read this letter carefully and make sure to submit required documents by the indicated deadline; otherwise, your application may be rejected. Please call the phone number listed in the upper left hand corner of the acknowledgement letter if you have any questions about your application.
6. To expedite the admission process, you must submit Final Grade Cards to Admissions and Records immediately upon completion of your last Open University and/or community college courses. Grade cards are available at the Admissions and Records Service Center in LH-114.
